Born in Birmingham, Alabama, on September 21, 1958, and living in Old Hickory, Tennessee, she gained her wings with family by her side on October 25, 2022, after a two-year battle with stomach cancer. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter who loved spending time with her family, friends, and her dog Bella. She liked going to the mountains, camping, and grilling out. She is preceded in death by her son Joseph Daniel "Joey" Higgins, brother David E. Pitts, and father William E. Pitts. She is survived by her mother Adrianna (Waldron) Pitts, husband Russell Higgins, daughter Nichole Higgins, son Daniel Higgins, and granddaughter Kali Higgins. Memorial Service to be held at Lebanon Road Church of Christ, December 3, 2022, at 12 p.m.
